Nupage System

The NuPAGE System is a precast gel electrophoresis platform for separating proteins by molecular size, providing a consistent alternative to conventional SDS-PAGE. In this method, protein samples are typically denatured with sodium dodecyl sulfate and reducing agents, then electrophoresed through Bis-Tris polyacrylamide gels in a neutral-pH buffer system such as MES or MOPS; the resulting migration pattern reflects protein mass. Researchers use NuPAGE gels to analyze protein expression, assess sample purity, estimate molecular weight, and prepare samples for Western blotting or downstream protein characterization. Its standardized format supports reproducible analysis across molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology studies.

Lentiviral expression vectors are the most effective vehicles for stably expressing different effector molecules or reporter constructs in dividing and non-dividing mammalian cells and whole organisms. Here we provide a protocol on how to package lentivector expression constructs in pseudoviral particles and to transduce target cells using the pseudoviral particles.

2020

Secondary material streams have been shown to include potential raw materials for production. Presented here is a protocol in which CDW-plastic waste as a raw material is identified, followed by various processing steps (agglomeration, extrusion). As a result, a composite material was produced, and mechanical properties were analyzed.
