Ip Telephony Service

IP telephony service is a communications system that delivers voice calls and related services over Internet Protocol networks rather than dedicated circuit-switched telephone lines. It converts analog or digital audio into encoded voice packets, while signaling protocols establish and route sessions and codecs compress and reconstruct speech; network mechanisms such as packet prioritization and quality-of-service controls help limit delay, jitter, and packet loss. In engineering, IP telephony services support enterprise communications, unified messaging, remote collaboration, and emergency calling, while their performance depends on bandwidth, network design, interoperability, and security.

2024

The services industry, a vital component of the modern economy, encompasses various activities that support personal needs and business operations. This sector emerged as industrial efficiency reduced the need for manufacturing labor, prompting a shift toward services that facilitate distribution, finance, and operational support. Beyond these essential functions, the services industry includes crucial areas such as education, healthcare, and other social support that ensure societal well-being.

EPS and iPS Cells in Disease Research

2023

Embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells are excellent models for disease research because of their ability to self-renew and differentiate into most cell types. Somatic cells from a patient are isolated and reprogrammed into induced pluripotent stem cells or iPSCs. These iPSCs are later differentiated into the desired cell type, which mirrors the diseased cell of the patient. In this way, disease models have been created for investigating diseases such as Down syndrome, type I diabetes,...
