Biography

Erin Bonner is a Ph.D. student in Cancer Biology at the George Washington University, and a Graduate Research Assistant in the Center for Genetic Medicine Research at Children's National Health System in Washington, D.C. She received her undergraduate degree in biology with honors from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania.

Erin's scientific interests are in pediatric central nervous system tumors, specifically diffuse midline gliomas. Her graduate research focuses on identifying and characterizing epigenetic-altering mutations in pediatric diffuse midline gliomas. She also focuses on the development of liquid biopsy-based approaches for the study, and clinical management, of childhood CNS cancers.
