Biography

Eduarda Bortoluzzi is a Ph.D. student in the department of Animal Sciences and Industry, Kansas State University. She graduated with a Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2017 at Federal University of Pampa, Uruguaiana, RS, Brazil. She obtained her Masters Degree in 2019, with a thesis entitled Applied Ethology Management Methods for Resilient Calves, performed at Kansas State University.

The center of Eduarda’s research is neonatal behaviors and immunology. The objectives of her research is to decrease neonatal mortality and improve animal welfare using an environmental enrichment device. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her family and dog.
