Biography

Ting-Jing Shen now is a PhD candidate and study at Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Taipei Medical University (TMU). She had master training from 2009-2011 at Microbiology and Immunology in National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). She was employed as a research assistant and a clinical trial’s project manager in the Institute of Clinical Medicine in NCKU (2012-2014) and Academia Sinica (2014-2016), respectively. Ting-Jing’s research interests are focused in pathogen-host interaction and anti-infection strategies. For enterovirus A71 infection, she has published that corticosteroid treatment exacerbates EVA71 infection. For dengue virus infection, she is exploring the possible host factor involving the infection. The establishment of the murine model, she and her colleges could further investigate the mechanisms.
