Biography

I'm a Cell Biologist from the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil) and a senior researcher of the Molecular Oncology Center at the Research and Education Institute of the Hospital Sírio-Libanês (HSL). My research is in the area of basic and translational oncology, with a focus on the mechanisms governing the mobility of cancer cells, hoping a better understanding of the genetic basis of cell infiltration. I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Chemistry Institute of USP and I did a post-doctorate in Molecular Biology and Cancer Genetics at the Ludwig Institute of Cancer Research (LICR). At LICR I was an assistant researcher of the Molecular Biology and Genomics team up to 2016.
