Biography

Daniel Some is Principal Scientist at Wyatt Technology Corporation, where he is responsible for aspects of technical marketing including producing scientific content (internally and with customers), exploring new applications of Wyatt's products, evaluating new technology and assessing customer needs for next--gen products. He regularly presents at relevant conferences and online, through webinars, white papers and application notes. In addition, he developed and continues to contribute to Wyatt's Calypso system for characterizing biomolecular interactions.

Previously Dr. Some was involved with semiconductor inspection equipment and military electro-optics. His undergraduate studies were completed at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, and doctoral studies at Brown University, both in physics. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Weizmann Institute of Science. He has authored two book chapters, 10 peer-reviewed articles and 17 patents.
