Dr Kashif Rajpoot is the Programme Director and a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science.
His research focuses on developing solutions for problems in medical image analysis, machine learning, cardiac electrophysiology, and biomarker analysis. He has published over 30 research papers in leading journals and conferences of his domain.
He leads the Computer Science programmes in University of Birmingham’s Dubai campus.
Kashif Rajpoot completed post-doctorate and PhD from University of Oxford, UK. His research work has focused on developing algorithms for multi-view 3D echocardiography to assist and enhance diagnostic routine in cardiology clinics. He has experience in the development and application of computational and machine learning algorithms for understanding and analysing biomedical data, in particular medical images.
