Rune Waagbø

Prof. Dr. Rune Waagbø is Director of the Fish Nutrition Research Program at the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen, Norway. He has participated in above 165 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 23 book chapters within fish nutrition, mainly within feed ingredients, nutrient requirements, fish welfare, and fish nutritional immunology and toxicology. He is a part time professor at the University of Bergen, teaching and supervising undergraduate, master and PhD students in fish nutrition. He is former Editor-in-Chief for the Wiley-journal Aquaculture Nutrition for over 15 years and is now an Editorial board member in British Journal of Nutrition. He is scientific board member of the ISFNF (International Symposium for Fish Nutrition and Feeding).
