Biography

PhD student in the Graduate Program in Food Sciences from UFRJ since October 2018, developing her research project in the Laboratory of Advanced Analyzes in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (LAABBM). Graduated as MSc. in Food Sciences at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in October 2018,Bachelor in Biological Sciences at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in July 2016. Colaborated in projects with the laboratories of the Department of Immunobiology at UFF, accompanying experiments from both the Immunobiology Group of Infectious and Granulomatous Diseases, Coordinated by Professor Mauricio Afonso Vericimo, and the Gastrointestinal Immunology Group, coordinated by Professor Gerlinde Teixeira. Joined a 18-month scholarship in Germany sponsored by CAPES through the Science Without Borders program (6 month study of German and 12 months at the University). Colaborated at the Molecular Medicine Department at Ebehard Karls Universität Tübingen, assisting in the research to outline the profile of nuclear inhibitor of NF-kB. Presented posters at national and international conferences, being awarded five times throughout her career.
