Biography

I am pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University doing research in the application of bioelectronics in neural engineering. In the Rivnay Lab, I specialize in device fabrication and testing of organic electrochemical transistors with the intent of creating novel conducting polymer-based biosensors for both chemical and electrical modulation of neural signals. The overall impact of this work is to more effectively understand and treat complex neurological conditions. Previously, I received my B.E. from Vanderbilt University in Biomedical Engineering at the School of Engineering, with a double major in Neuroscience. I also performed undergraduate research through Vanderbilt University in organ-on-chip devices, specifically for examining breast cancer metastasis to the brain.
