Biography

David García Mato is a PhD student in Biomedical Science and Technology of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2015, and his master's degree in Multimedia and Communications in 2016 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain.

He worked as a researcher at the Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery in Queen's University (Kingston, ON, Canada) and at the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, Children's National Medical Center (Washington, DC, United States). Also, he was a visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi, India).

His research interests are in the areas of image-guided surgery, medical imaging and 3D printing.
