Biography

I obtained my undergraduate schooling from Central College in Pella, Iowa where I majored in Biology. I then went on to Iowa State University to get my Masters in Agronomy.

I started my career at Corteva Agriscience in 2010, although, it was called DuPont Pioneer then. I have work in several labs since, but have spent the bulk of my career working in Crop Genome Engineering as a part of Applied Science and Technology. Here I perform tissue culture on a variety of different corn inbreds, working on optimizing efficiency and producing new plants that can thrive in a variety of environments.
