Biography

Aditi Upadhye is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Virginia in the laboratory of Dr. Coleen

McNamara. She earned her B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State

University, where her coursework and exposure to translational research led her to pursue

graduate studies in biomedical sciences. Aditi received her PhD in December 2019 studying

B-1 cell-mediated protection against atherosclerosis in Dr. McNamara's lab. In the future, she plans to continue

pursuing research on immune mechanisms present in chronic inflammatory conditions and opportunities

to translate scientific discoveries to human health and disease.
