Biography

Yeganeh Habibi is a PhD student in Chemistry Department, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She was born in Tehran, Iran and received her undergraduate degree in Applied Chemistry from University of Tehran, Iran(2017).

She started her graduate study in Chemistry Department at McGill University in 2018. During her PhD training Yeganeh in collaboration with Thibodaux group developed a platform to study the conformational dynamic of lanthipeptide synthetases using Hydrogen-Deuterium Exchange Mass Spectrometry. Exploiting this keen technique allowed them to discover novel characteristics about biosynthetic pathways of enzymes which are involved in antibiotic production.
