Vanessa Sweet

Vanessa Sweet is a physical therapist at Jones Memorial Hospital in the Department of Rehabilitation located in Wellsville, NY. She received her undergraduate degree at Houghton College and her Doctor of Physical Therapy at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. While pursuing her graduate degree she developed a special interest in neuroscience, stroke rehabilitation in particular. This interest led to participation in neuroscience-related rehabilitation research while in graduate school and a special interest in treating patients with stroke and other neurologic conditions in a private outpatient clinic from graduation until February of 2021. As of February 2021 Vanessa has been employed at Jones Memorial Hospital treating patients with a wide variety of diagnoses ranging from orthopedic to neurologic.
