An MSci Biochemistry student at the University of Birmingham undertaking a Year in Industry placement in Beamline B24 at Diamond Light Source. This placement project involves studying the phagocytosis of Candida species in a Drosophila model using correlative Cryo-Structured Illumination Microscopy and Cryo-Soft X-ray Tomography.
