Biography

I study central and peripheral neural pathways involved in feeding, energy balance, and immunity. I am particularly interested in how vagal afferent neurons are organized, how they help control inflammation, and how they respond to changes in immunity and metabolism. I also collaborate on various projects related to vagus nerve stimulation and the treatment of inflammatory disorders.
