I am a physician scientist who specializes in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. My research is focused on medical mycology with interests in fungal pathogenesis and antifungal drug discovery. I received my PhD in organic chemistry and was a synthetic chemist in the pharmaceutical industry before returning to medical school.
