Completion of the human genome sequence along with other species allows for greater understanding of the biochemical mechanisms and processes that govern healthy as well as diseased states. The large size of the genome sequences has made them difficult to study using traditional methods. There are many studies focusing on the protein coding sequences, however, not much is known about the function of non-coding regions of the genome. It has been demonstrated that parts of the non-coding region play a critical role as gene regulatory elements. Enhancers that regulate transcription processes have been found in intergenic regions. Furthermore, it is observed that regulatory elements found in non-coding regions are highly conserved across different species. However, the analysis of these regulatory elements is not as straightforward as it may first seem. The development of a centralized resource that allows for the quick and easy retrieval of non-coding sequences from multiple species and is capable of handling multi-gene queries is critical for the analysis of non-coding sequences. Here we describe the development of a web-based non-coding sequence retrieval system.

L&#x26;#39;ach&#xE8;vement de la s&#xE9;quence du g&#xE9;nome humain avec d&#x26;#39;autres esp&#xE8;ces permet de mieux comprendre les m&#xE9;canismes biochimiques et des processus qui r&#xE9;gissent les &#xE9;tats sains ainsi que malade. La grande taille des s&#xE9;quences du g&#xE9;nome a fait difficiles &#xE0; &#xE9;tudier selon les m&#xE9;thodes traditionnelles. Il existe de nombreuses &#xE9;tudes mettant l&#x26;#39;accent sur les s&#xE9;quences codant pour des prot&#xE9;ines, cependant, ne sait pas trop sur la fonction de r&#xE9;gions non codantes du g&#xE9;nome. Il a &#xE9;t&#xE9; d&#xE9;montr&#xE9; que certaines parties de la r&#xE9;gion non codante jouent un r&#xF4;le essentiel en tant qu&#x26;#39;&#xE9;l&#xE9;ments de r&#xE9;gulation des g&#xE8;nes. Enhancers de transcription qui r&#xE9;gulent les processus ont &#xE9;t&#xE9; trouv&#xE9;s dans les r&#xE9;gions interg&#xE9;niques. En outre, on constate que des &#xE9;l&#xE9;ments de r&#xE9;gulation trouv&#xE9;s dans les r&#xE9;gions non codantes sont tr&#xE8;s conserv&#xE9;es entre esp&#xE8;ces diff&#xE9;rentes. Cependant, l&#x26;#39;analyse de ces &#xE9;l&#xE9;ments de r&#xE9;gulation n&#x26;#39;est pas aussi simple que cela puisse d&#x26;#39;abord sembler. Le d&#xE9;veloppement d&#x26;#39;une ressource centralis&#xE9;e qui permet la r&#xE9;cup&#xE9;ration rapide et facile des s&#xE9;quences non-codantes de plusieurs esp&#xE8;ces et est capable de g&#xE9;rer plusieurs g&#xE8;nes requ&#xEA;tes est essentielle pour l&#x26;#39;analyse des s&#xE9;quences non-codantes. Abschluss der menschlichen Genom-Sequenz zusammen mit anderen Arten kann eines besseren Verst&auml;ndnisses der biochemischen Mechanismen und Prozesse &uuml;ber den gesunde als auch Kranke Staaten. Die Gr&ouml;&szlig;e der die Genomsequenzen hat sie schwer zu studieren, mit traditionellen Methoden gemacht. Es gibt viele Studien, die Konzentration auf die Proteins Sequenzen, allerdings ist nicht viel bekannt &uuml;ber die Funktion von nicht-kodierenden Regionen des Genoms. Es ist nachgewiesen, dass die nicht-kodierenden Region eine wichtige Rolle als Gen-regulatorischen Elementen spielen. Geschmacksverst&auml;rker, die Transkription Prozesse regulieren in intergenetischer Regionen gefunden. Dar&uuml;ber hinaus wird es beobachtet, dass regulatorische Elemente gefunden in nicht-kodierenden Regionen verschiedener Arten stark konserviert sind. Die Analyse dieser regulatorischen Elemente ist jedoch nicht so einfach, wie es zun&auml;chst scheint. Die Entwicklung einer zentralen Ressource, die erm&ouml;glicht den schnellen und einfachen Abruf von nicht-kodierenden Sequenzen aus mehreren Arten und kann zwischen zahlreichen Genen Abfragen ist entscheidend f&uuml;r die Analyse von nicht-kodierenden Sequenzen. Hier beschreiben wir die Entwicklung eines Web-basierten nicht-kodierenden Sequenz Retrieval Systems.

Completamento della sequenza del genoma umano insieme ad altre specie permette una maggiore comprensione dei meccanismi biochimici e i processi che governano stati sani come pure malati. Le grandi dimensioni delle sequenze del genoma li ha resi difficili da studiare con metodi tradizionali. Ci sono molti studi sulle sequenze di codificazione della proteina di messa a fuoco, tuttavia, non si sa molto circa la funzione delle regioni non codificanti del genoma. &Egrave; stato dimostrato che parti della regione non codificante giocano un ruolo fondamentale come elementi regolatori del gene. Rinforzatori che regolano i processi di trascrizione sono stati trovati nelle regioni intergenic.
