Veterinary antibiotics are widely used for disease treatment, prevention and animal growth promoting. Frequent detection of veterinary antibiotics in environments, caused by land application of untreated or even treated antibiotics-containing animal wastes, has posed the growing concern of their adverse effect on natural ecosystems. Oxytetracycline (OTC) is one of the most widely-used veterinary antibiotics in livestock industry. OTC present as a cation, zwitterions, or net negatively charged ion in soils complicates predicting its sorption characteristics and potential bioavailability and toxicity. This study was to identify soil properties influencing OTC sorption and its subsequent bioavailability in five soils with various physical-chemical properties. A solution used to determine bioavailable analytes in soils and sediments, 1 M MgCl(2) (pH 8.5), was chosen to desorb the potentially bioavailable fraction of OTC sorbed onto soils. Our results demonstrated that soils with higher illite content and permanent cation exchange capacity have higher OTC sorption capacity, but increase the availability of sorbed OTC indicated by higher release of sorbed OTC from soils into aqueous phase in 1 M MgCl(2) (pH 8.5). Reversely, soil organic matter (SOM), clay, kaolinite, variable cation exchange capacity, DCB-Fe and -Al have lower OTC sorption capacity, but decrease the release of sorbed OTC from soils into 1 M MgCl(2). These findings indicate that SOM and clay greatly influence OTC adsorption and potential availability. This study contributes significantly to our understanding of the potential bioavailability of sorbed OTC and the effects of soil properties on OTC sorption behaviors in soils.

Antibiotiques v&eacute;t&eacute;rinaires sont largement utilis&eacute;s pour le traitement des maladies, la pr&eacute;vention et la promotion de la croissance des animaux. D&eacute;tection fr&eacute;quente des antibiotiques v&eacute;t&eacute;rinaires dans des environnements, caus&eacute;es par l&#39;&eacute;pandage des non trait&eacute;e ou m&ecirc;me traiter les d&eacute;chets d&#39;origine animale contenant des antibiotiques, a pos&eacute; la pr&eacute;occupation croissante de leurs effets n&eacute;fastes sur les &eacute;cosyst&egrave;mes naturels. Oxyt&eacute;tracycline (OTC) est un des antibiotiques v&eacute;t&eacute;rinaires plus r&eacute;pandu dans l&#39;industrie du b&eacute;tail. D&Eacute;FI actuel comme un cation, zwitterions ou net des ions charg&eacute;es n&eacute;gativement dans les sols compliquent pr&eacute;dire ses caract&eacute;ristiques de sorption et potentiels la biodisponibilit&eacute; et la toxicit&eacute;. Cette &eacute;tude &eacute;tait d&#39;identifier les propri&eacute;t&eacute;s du sol qui influent sur la sorption de l&#39;OTC et sa biodisponibilit&eacute; subs&eacute;quente dans cinq sols avec diverses propri&eacute;t&eacute;s physiques et chimiques. Une solution est utilis&eacute;e pour d&eacute;terminer les analytes biodisponibles dans les sols et les s&eacute;diments, 1 M MgCl(2) (pH 8,5), a &eacute;t&eacute; choisi pour d&eacute;sorber le potentiellement la fraction biodisponible dut adsorb&eacute; sur les sols. Nos r&eacute;sultats d&eacute;montrent que les sols avec une plus grande capacit&eacute; d&#39;illite &eacute;changeuse de cations contenu et permanents ont une plus grande capacit&eacute; de sorption d&#39;OTC, mais augmentation de la disponibilit&eacute; des sorbes OTC indiquait par la lib&eacute;ration de plus de sorb&eacute;s OTC de sols en phase aqueuse de 1 M MgCl(2) (pH 8,5). &Agrave; l&#39;inverse, sur le sol des mati&egrave;res organiques (SOM), argile, kaolin, capacit&eacute; variable &eacute;changeuse de cations, DCB-Fe - Al ont plus faible capacit&eacute; de sorption d&#39;OTC, et diminue la lib&eacute;ration de sorb&eacute;e OTC des sols dans 1 M MgCl(2). Ces r&eacute;sultats indiquent que SOM et argile influencent grandement la disponibilit&eacute; adsorption et le potentiel d&#39;OTC. Cette &eacute;tude contribue de fa&ccedil;on importante &agrave; notre compr&eacute;hension de la biodisponibilit&eacute; potentielle des sorbes OTC et les effets des propri&eacute;t&eacute;s du sol sur les comportements de sorption OTC dans les sols.

H&auml;ufige Nachweis von tier&auml;rztlichen Antibiotika in Umgebungen, verursacht durch Land Anwendung unbehandelt oder sogar Antibiotika-haltigen tierischen Abf&auml;lle behandelt, hat die wachsende Sorge &uuml;ber ihre nat&uuml;rliche &Ouml;kosysteme beeintr&auml;chtigen gestellt. Oxytetracyclin (OTC) ist eines der am weitesten verbreitete tier&auml;rztliche Antibiotika in der Viehwirtschaft. Medios antimicr&oacute;bicos veterinarios son ampliamente utilizados para el tratamiento de la enfermedad, la prevenci&oacute;n y la promoci&oacute;n de crecimiento animal. Detecci&oacute;n frecuente de Medios antimicr&oacute;bicos veterinarios en entornos, provocados por tierra no tratada o incluso tratar desechos de origen animal que contienen antibi&oacute;ticos, ha planteado la preocupaci&oacute;n creciente de sus efectos adversos sobre los ecosistemas naturales. Oxitetraciclina (OTC) es uno de los antibi&oacute;ticos veterinarios m&aacute;s ampliamente utilizado en la industria ganadera. OTC presente como un cati&oacute;n, zwitteriones o red iones cargados negativamente en suelos complica predecir sus caracter&iacute;sticas de absorci&oacute;n y biodisponibilidad de potencial y toxicidad. Este estudio fue identificar las propiedades del suelo que influyen en la absorci&oacute;n de OTC y su biodisponibilidad posterior en cinco suelos con diferentes propiedades f&iacute;sico-qu&iacute;micas. Una soluci&oacute;n que permite determinar analitos biodisponible en suelos y sedimentos, MgCl(2) de 1 M (pH 8.5), fue elegido para la desorci&oacute;n el potencialmente biodisponibles fracci&oacute;n de OTC Sorvete en suelos. Nuestros resultados demuestran que suelos con mayor capacidad de ilita contenido y permanente de intercambio cati&oacute;nico tienen mayor capacidad de absorci&oacute;n de OTC, aumento de la disponibilidad de OTC sorbed indicado por el mayor lanzamiento de Sorvete OTC de suelos en fase acuosa en 1 M MgCl(2) (pH 8.5). Reverso, suelo de arcilla, caol&iacute;n, materia org&aacute;nica (SOM), capacidad variable del intercambio cati&oacute;nico, DCB-Fe y - Al tener menor capacidad de absorci&oacute;n de OTC, pero disminuyen la liberaci&oacute;n de OTC sorbed de suelos en 1 M MgCl(2). Estos resultados indican que SOM y arcilla influyen mucho la disponibilidad de adsorci&oacute;n y potencial de OTC. Este estudio contribuye significativamente a la comprensi&oacute;n de la biodisponibilidad potencial de OTC sorbed y los efectos de las propiedades del suelo en comportamientos de sorci&oacute;n de OTC en suelos.
