The actions and mechanisms of dehydrodiisoeugenol (DEH) on releasing clinical symptoms such as diarrhea caused by inflammatory bowel diseases or colorectal cancer is still unclear. The main purpose is to reveal the mechanism and describe the impacts of DEH on enteritis and accompanying intestinal dysmotility in murine model. The animal model of diarrhea was established through being given acetic acid by intracolonic instillation and restraint stress and the weight of the diarrhea mouse, diarrhea index (the product of stool rate and stool grade) evaluation and then, myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity were determined after administrated with DEH. Meanwhile, the expression of myosin light chain kinase (MLCK) was research by WB method. Moreover, the isolated jejunal segment (IJS) of rats was separated from the intact jejunum and the contractility was measured through BL-420F physiological recording system. DEH could significantly inhibit the intestinal transit in normal mice or diarrhea-predominated mice and reduce the diarrhea index and the level of MPO in mice. DEH concentration-dependently inhibited motility of IJS in different states. DEH significantly markedly ameliorated the histopathology condition and reduce the MLCK expression in acetic acid induced diarrhea mice. DEH simultaneously improved enteritis and co-occurring dysmotility in diarrhea mice characterized by reducing the contractility and MLCK contents in acetic acid induced diarrhea mice.

EUS is recommended for guiding pancreatic tissue acquisition in suspected autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) cases. However, there is a lack of comparative research on the effectiveness between EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) and EUS-guided fine-needle biopsy (EUS-FNB) for diagnosing AIP in China. This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of EUS-guided tissue acquisition (EUS-TA) specifically for type 1 AIP.

Nanodrug delivery systems (NDDSs) have demonstrated broad application prospects in disease treatment, prevention, and diagnosis due to their nanoscale size advantages and high drug-loading capacity. However, their clinical translation still faces multiple challenges, including rapid clearance by the reticuloendothelial system (RES), nonspecific targeting, and insufficient efficiency in crossing biological barriers. Cell membrane-coated biomimetic delivery systems (CMC-BDS), which integrates natural cell membranes onto nanoparticle (NPs) surfaces, provides nanodrugs with a versatile "biomimetic cloak," representing a highly promising surface engineering strategy. This approach enables nanocarriers to inherit the intrinsic biological properties of different cell sources, endowing them with immune evasion, prolonged circulation, dynamic targeting, biocompatibility, and biodegradability, while supporting the integration of diverse biomedical functions. Furthermore, surface functionalization modifications can enhance their programmability, multifunctionality, and biointerface adaptability, thereby optimizing targeted delivery efficiency and extending in vivo circulation time. This review first outlines the development and key preparation steps of cell membrane coating technology. It then discusses the selection strategies for various cell membrane types-including leukocyte, erythrocyte, platelet, dendritic cell, tumor cell, and bacterial membranes-while comparing their respective advantages and limitations. Finally, the review highlights recent advances in applying cell membrane-coated nanoparticles (CMC-NPs) for treating tumors, ischemic stroke, and inflammatory diseases.
