A new rosane-type diterpenoid () along with nine known diterpenoids (), were isolated from the dried roots of . The absolute configuration was elucidated from spectroscopic (nuclear magnetic resonance, high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, and electronic circular dichroism) and optical-rotation analyses. Cytotoxicity and the ability to scavenge 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radicals were determined. Compound  showed remarkable cytotoxicity against human cancer cell lines (HeLa, CT26, and HCC 1806) . The interaction between compound  and proteins of ribosomal S6 kinase was revealed using molecular docking and provided valuable insights into the cytotoxic mechanism of action of compound . The latter could be developed as a pharmaceutical agent in the future.

Platelet-Rich Plasma for Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair: A 3-Arm Randomized Controlled Trial.

One undescribed fatty glyceride (), two unreported -acetyldopamine dimers ( and ), and four known structurally diverse -acetyldopamine dimers were isolated from adult  Smith. Their structures were elucidated based on a comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data, HRESIMS, and NMR calculations with ML_J_DP4, and the absolute configurations of  and  were determined via ECD calculations. Regarding their bioactivities, compounds  and  can inhibit the production of NO. Moreover, compounds ,  and  showed stronger antioxidant activity than the positive control (VC) at 14 μg/mL. A network pharmacology study was used to explore the potential bioactive mechanisms. In addition, a docking study of anti-inflammatory and antioxidative compounds was also performed.

Various measurement methods based on 3-dimensional computed tomography (3D-CT) have been developed. Recently, the simple linear formula method, which establishes a correlation between glenoid height and width, has emerged as a promising technique.

Assessing Glenoid Defects in Anterior Shoulder Instability: Comparison of a Simple Linear Formula Method With Traditional Methods Using 3-Dimensional Computed Tomography.

In this work, a specific and sensitive photoelectrochemical (PEC) biosensor has been constructed for the lead ion (Pb) assay by applying a silver nanoparticles@3,4,9,10-perylene tetracarboxylic acid (Ag@PTCA) Schottky junction as the signal substrate and cobalt tetraphenyl porphyrin (CoPP) as the signal quencher integrated with nucleic acid double-amplification strategies. The strong unidirectional conductivity of the Shottky junction and the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect of Ag NPs significantly enhanced the charge separation capability within the Ag@PTCA Schottky junction, thus providing a robust signal substrate for this biosensor. CoPP embedded within the double-strand DNA structure acted as the effective quencher. The double-amplification strategies containing rolling circle amplification (RCA) and DNAzyme-assisted Pb cycling reaction were exquisitely designed and applied for upgrading the detection characteristics of the biosensor. The experimental findings demonstrated that the PEC signal was progressively recovered as the Pb concentration increased from 500 fM to 5 μM, and the detection limit was 166.7 fM under optimal conditions, thus endowing the biosensor with the benefits of strong specificity and high selectivity. This method provides promising opportunities for detecting various heavy-metal ions in the fields of environmental monitoring, biological analysis, and medical research under complex conditions.

Photoelectrochemical Pb Analysis Based on the Effective Signal Quenching of CoPP toward Ag@PTCA Schottky Junction.

The treatment of recurrent anterior shoulder instability with critical glenoid bone defects typically involves a bone augmentation procedure. Autologous iliac crest bone grafting for glenoid reconstruction has gained popularity in recent years. Numerous bone fixation techniques have been reported, most of which use metal implants. This article introduces a technique for triangular fixation of the bone block using 3 suture-loaded anchors, which can achieve accurate positioning and firm fixation of the bone block without requiring any special instruments.

Arthroscopic Autologous Iliac Crest Bone Grafting Using 3 Suture-Loaded Anchors for Recurrent Anterior Shoulder Instability With Critical Glenoid Bone Loss: A Triangular Fixation Technique.
