Biography

Stefan Deleuze graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Liège Belgium in 1994 and worked in private practice. He started working for the veterinary teaching hospital of the veterinary faculty of Liège in 1997, and has since spent more and more time in academia with only some time left if practice. He obtained a Master in Science in 2003. In 2004, he successfully passed the exam to become a specialist in animal reproduction (European College Animal Reproduction ECAR) (subspecialty equine) and defended a PhD on equine oocyte IVM and intra-oviductal transfer in 2009. That same year he passed the ECAR exam again (subspecialty: small animals). Since 2010, he is Professor in small and equine reproduction at the veterinary faculty of the university of Liège. He is currently member President of the Board of ECAR.
