It is becoming increasingly necessary for community health centers to make rehabilitation services available to patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. However, for a number of reasons, including a lack of expertise, the small size of community health centers and the availability of only simple medical equipment, conventional rehabilitation therapy has not been widely used in China. Consequently, most patients with knee osteoarthritis seek treatment in high-grade hospitals. However, many patients cannot manage the techniques that they were taught in the hospital. Methods such as acupuncture, tuina, Chinese medical herb fumigation-washing and t'ai chi are easy to do and have been reported to have curative effects in those with knee osteoarthritis. To date, there have been no randomized controlled trials validating comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine for the rehabilitation of knee osteoarthritis in a community health center. Furthermore, there is no standard rehabilitation protocol using traditional Chinese medicine for knee osteoarthritis. The aim of the current study is to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation protocol using traditional Chinese medicine for the management of knee osteoarthritis in a community health center.

The massive use of macrolides has led to the emergence of resistance in , and  is suspected to be a reservoir of antimicrobial resistance genes. The mechanism to macrolide resistance in  is mainly due to  and . In this study, loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) methods were developed to detect  and  genes in  through turbidimetry detection. The sensitivity and specificity of the LAMP reactions were determined. All results of LAMP and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay were compared to determine whether LAMP method was accurate and reliable. The results showed that all 100 nonstreptococcus clinical isolates tested negative, indicating the high specificity of LAMP assays. The detection limit of LAMP assay was 1 fg per reaction, and 10-10-fold lower than those of conventional PCR methods. Evaluation of the performance of the LAMP assay in  clinical strains revealed a good consistency between LAMP and PCR assays. Phage vB_CpeS-17DYC was isolated from wastewater from a poultry market using Clostridium perfringens strain DYC. The vB_CpeS-17DYC genome is 39,184 bp long, with 65 open reading frames and a GC content of 30.6%. It shared 93.95% nucleotide identity, with 70% query coverage, with  phage phiCP13O (GenBank accession number NC_019506.1). Virulence factor genes were not found in the vB_CpeS-17DYC genome.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a major global health concern affecting approximately 13.3 million individuals annually and contributing to 1.7 million deaths, with disproportionately high incidence in low- and middle-income countries, children, and critically ill patients. Its complex pathogenesis centers on regulated cell death(RCD) (apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis, ferroptosis, cuproptosis), inflammation, DNA damage, and metabolic disorders, and recent advances in single-cell sequencing have uncovered key molecular pathways and therapeutic targets. Early diagnosis is pivotal for preventing progression to chronic kidney disease (CKD), yet delays remain a major barrier to improved outcomes. The evolving definition—from acute renal failure (ARF) to AKI and the recent proposal of acute kidney disease (AKD)—has enhanced identification of renal dysfunction, facilitating timely intervention. AKI is classified into prerenal, intrinsic renal, and postrenal types, with subdivisions including sepsis-induced and drug-induced variants. Innovative diagnostic tools, such as urinary biomarkers (TIMP-2, IGFBP7, NGAL, KIM-1), non-coding RNAs, advanced imaging, and AI-driven models, offer promise for early detection, though standardization and biomarker validation challenges persist. Current treatments are largely supportive, but emerging therapies—including mesenchymal stem cell therapies, traditional Chinese medicine, anti-inflammatory agents, and ferroptosis inhibitors—show potential for renal repair. Future directions emphasize the Acute Disease Quality Initiative’s digital AKI management model, integrating AI-enabled dynamic monitoring and multilevel, integrated care to optimize volume management and improve patient outcomes.
