Influencers, like the IT support team, provide valuable information for evaluating alternatives, including assessing essential specifications such as the processor and storage.
Buyers have the formal authority to select suppliers and negotiate terms, such as when managers finalize contracts.
Deciders, like the managing director, approve purchases, select final suppliers, and control budgets.
Gatekeepers manage the flow of information to decision-makers, ensuring that necessary information is shared appropriately. For instance, an administrative assistant ensures the managing director receives all necessary information to make an informed decision.
