Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, improves a website's visibility on search engines.
Search engines like Google and Bing use algorithms to determine the relevance and ranking of web pages. SEO involves three main stages which are crawling, indexing, and ranking.
During the crawling stage, bots known as spiders or crawlers explore the web, discovering and indexing new and updated content.
In the indexing stage, the search engine analyzes content and stores it in a massive database called the index, which contains useful web pages.
In the ranking stage, when a user searches for a term, the search engine sifts through its index to find the most relevant results. The ranking algorithm considers factors such as keyword relevance, content quality, user experience, and backlinks to deliver the best results.
SEO increases organic traffic by improving search rankings and attracting targeted visitors, which enhances credibility and brand awareness.
It is affordable and more effective than paid advertisements. It also enhances user experience and provides valuable insights into customer behavior.
