Resource Evaluation

Resource evaluation is the systematic assessment of available assets, capabilities, and inputs to determine their value, suitability, and effective use. In marketing, it involves comparing resources such as budgets, personnel, data, technology, content, and distribution channels against campaign objectives, costs, expected reach, and measurable outcomes. Marketers use audits, performance metrics, cost-benefit analysis, and benchmarking to identify gaps, prioritize investments, and allocate resources where they can produce the greatest impact. This process supports more efficient campaign planning, strengthens evidence-based decision-making, and helps organizations adapt resource allocation as audience behavior, market conditions, and strategic priorities change.
