Stakeholder Management

Stakeholder management is the systematic process of identifying, understanding, and engaging people or groups affected by, or able to influence, an organization’s decisions and outcomes. It works by assessing stakeholders’ interests, expectations, influence, and potential concerns, then using tailored communication, consultation, and relationship-building to align priorities and manage conflict. In marketing, this process helps organizations coordinate customers, employees, partners, investors, regulators, and community groups around brand objectives and campaigns. Effective stakeholder management can strengthen trust, improve decision-making, support more responsive marketing strategies, and increase the likelihood that initiatives achieve sustained organizational and social value.
