Ronald Myers, Ph.D.

Ron received his Ph.D. in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology from Tufts University. During his thesis work he investigated the role of various extracellular matrix proteins in the proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells. After graduating from Tufts, Ron began a postdoctoral research position at Harvard Medical School. His research focused on the role of a novel class of arrestins, the α-arrestins, on β-adrenergic receptors in the context of heart failure and obesity. In his spare time Ron is an animal lover and enjoys camping and the outdoors. ronald.myers@jove.com
