Force

Wir haben die Bewegung von Objekten bereits früher untersucht. Was führt dazu, dass sich Objekte bewegen?
Wenn ein anderes Objekt einen "Druck" oder einen "Zug" auf ihn ausübt, bewegt er sich. Eine solche Wechselwirkung zwischen Objekten oder zwischen einem Objekt und seiner Umgebung wird als Kraft bezeichnet.
Um die Kraft zu bestimmen, müssen wir wissen, wie stark und in welche Richtung sie wirkt. Daher ist die Kraft eine Vektorgröße und wird in Einheiten von Newton ausgedrückt.
Die auf den Erdmittelpunkt gerichtete Schwerkraft lässt zum Beispiel Früchte auf den Boden fallen.
Wenn mehr als eine Kraft auf ein Objekt wirkt, ist ihre kombinierte Wirkung die gleiche wie die einer einzelnen Kraft, die der Vektorsumme der einzelnen Kräfte entspricht. Dieses Prinzip wird als Überlagerungsprinzip der Kräfte bezeichnet.
Umgekehrt kann jede Kraft, die auf ein Objekt wirkt, in ihre horizontalen und vertikalen Kraftkomponenten aufgelöst werden.

Kräfte beeinflussen jeden Moment unseres Lebens. Unsere Körper werden durch die Kraft an die Erde gebunden, und sie werden durch die Kräfte geladener Teilchen zusammengehalten. Wenn wir eine Tür öffnen, eine Straße entlanggehen, eine Gabel heben oder das Gesicht eines Babys berühren, wenden wir Kraft an. Die Atome unseres Körpers werden durch elektrische Kräfte zusammengehalten, und der Kern eines Atoms, der sogenannte Atomkern, wird durch die stärkste uns bekannte Kraft zusammengehalten - die Kernkraft.

Die Untersuchung von Bewegung wird Kinematik genannt, aber Kinematik beschreibt nur die Art und Weise, wie Objekte sich bewegen - ihre Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit und ihre Beschleunigung. Dynamik ist die Untersuchung, wie Kräfte die Bewegung von Objekten und Systemen beeinflussen. Es berücksichtigt die Ursache der Bewegung der betroffenen Objekte und Systeme, wobei ein System alles ist, was analysiert wird. Um dies zu verstehen, benötigen wir eine Arbeitsdefinition von Kraft. Eine intuitive Definition von Kraft – d.h. ein Druck oder eine Zugkraft - ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt. Wir wissen, dass ein Druck oder eine Zugkraft sowohl einen Betrag als auch eine Richtung hat (daher ist Kraft eine Vektorgröße). Dadurch können wir Kraft als den Druck oder die Zugkraft auf ein Objekt mit einem bestimmten Betrag und einer bestimmten Richtung definieren. Kraft kann durch Vektoren dargestellt oder als Vielfaches einer standardisierten Kraft ausgedrückt werden.

Die SI-Einheit der Kraft wird Newton (abgekürzt N) genannt, und 1 N ist die Kraft, die benötigt wird, um ein Objekt mit einer Masse von 1 kg mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 1 m/s² zu beschleunigen: 1 N = 1 kg·m/s².

Force is a push or pull that acts on an object. It has both magnitude and direction, so force is a vector quantity. In everyday life, force appears when we open a door, walk down a street, lift a fork, or touch a baby's face.

Forces also shape matter at the smallest scales. The atoms in our bodies are held together by electrical forces. The nucleus of an atom is held together by nuclear force, which is the strongest force known to us.

The study of motion is called kinematics. Kinematics describes how objects move, including their velocity and acceleration. Dynamics is different because it studies how forces affect the motion of objects and systems. A system is anything being analyzed.

To work with force in physics, we use vectors or compare it with a standard force. The SI unit of force is the newton, written as N. One newton is the force needed to accelerate a 1 kg object at 1 m/s², so 1 N = 1 kg·m/s².
