Design Example: Creating a Hydraulic Model of a Dam Spillway

Ein hydraulisches Modell eines Dammüberlaufs wird häufig erstellt, indem die Konstruktion verkleinert wird, in der Regel auf ein Verhältnis von 1:15, um wichtige Strömungseigenschaften wie Geschwindigkeitsverteilung, Strömungsmuster, Turbulenzen und Energiedissipation zu replizieren.
Dieses verkleinerte Modell ermöglicht eine detaillierte Untersuchung, wie das Wasser über den Überlauf fließt.
