La tomografía computarizada cardíaca, o TC, es una técnica de diagnóstico por imágenes que utiliza tecnología de tomografía computarizada, con o sin contraste, para producir imágenes transversales detalladas del corazón, la circulación coronaria y los vasos sanguíneos principales.
Este método evalúa la enfermedad de las arterias coronarias, la anatomía prequirúrgica, las anomalías congénitas y las enfermedades pericárdicas.
