Quality Score is a diagnostic rating used in digital advertising to estimate how relevant and useful an ad is to the people who see it. In platforms such as Google Ads, the score is calculated from signals including expected click-through rate, ad relevance, and landing page experience, which reflect how closely an ad and its destination match a user’s search intent. Marketers use Quality Score to identify weak keywords, improve ad copy and landing pages, and potentially increase ad visibility while reducing costs. It therefore connects campaign optimization with a better, more relevant user experience.
