Real Time Quantification

Real-time quantification is the measurement and analysis of biological or clinical variables as data are generated, allowing results to guide decisions without waiting for later processing. It combines time-resolved data acquisition with computational analysis to calculate changes in a target, such as a molecular signal, physiological parameter, or disease marker, under defined conditions. In medicine, this approach supports rapid diagnosis, continuous patient monitoring, assessment of treatment response, and detection of clinically important changes. By linking measurement with immediate interpretation, real-time quantification can improve clinical responsiveness and strengthen research on disease progression, therapeutic effectiveness, and personalized care.
