Frontal Parietal Channels

Frontal parietal channels are neural communication pathways linking frontal and parietal brain regions, which work together to coordinate attention, working memory, decision-making, and goal-directed behavior. Their activity reflects interactions between frontal control systems and parietal regions that integrate sensory information, often measured through electrophysiological or neuroimaging signals and analyzed as changes in connectivity or network synchrony. Studying these channels helps researchers characterize cognitive control, track how information moves across large-scale brain networks, and identify alterations associated with neurological or psychiatric conditions. They also support the development of biomarkers and brain-computer interfaces for investigating cognition and behavior.

Ion Channels

2019

The movement of ions like sodium, potassium, and calcium into and out of the cell is essential to maintain the electrochemical gradient in living cells. The ion channels—a class of membrane transport proteins—help maintain this ionic gradient for the smooth functioning of physiological activities such as maintaining cell size and volume, conducting nerve impulses, and gas and nutrient exchange. Ion channels are specialized integral membrane proteins on the plasma membrane that allow specific...

Frontal Disconnection for Treating Mild Malformation of Cortical Development with Oligodendroglial Hyperplasia in Epilepsy (MOGHE) in the Frontal Lobe

Here, we present a protocol to describe the epilepsy outcome and complications of 8 patients with mild malformation of cortical development with oligodendroglial hyperplasia in epilepsy (MOGHE) in the frontal lobe after frontal disconnection. The procedure is characterized by its simplicity, user-friendliness, and fewer postoperative complications.

Here we demonstrate how to fabricate thermoplastic microfluidic chips using hot embossing and heat sealing. Then we demonstrate how to use in situ light directed surface grafting and polymerization through the sealed chip to form the composite solid phase columns.

Channel Metrics

2025

Channel metrics are crucial in efficiently distributing products across various sales channels, such as retail stores, online platforms, and wholesale distributors. These metrics are instrumental in ensuring that products reach the intended markets. One key measure of distribution efficiency is product availability, which refers to how often products are accessible in critical sales outlets. For instance, a beverage company ensuring that its drinks are stocked in 90% of local grocery stores is...
