High Elaboration

High elaboration is a form of intensive, effortful thinking in which people closely examine information, arguments, and evidence before forming or changing a judgment. In psychology, it occurs when individuals have sufficient motivation, attention, and ability to process a message, leading them to evaluate its quality through the central route of persuasion rather than relying mainly on peripheral cues such as attractiveness or popularity. High elaboration can produce more durable attitudes and stronger links between beliefs and behavior, making it important for studying persuasion, decision-making, learning, health communication, and educational interventions.

We model a simple multiplexed ECL assay that combines 7 autoantibody assays together. The assay is capable of screening for T1D and multiple other autoimmune diseases, simultaneously, including celiac disease, autoimmune thyroid disease, and autoimmune polyglandular syndrome 1.
