Wave Intensity and Energy Transfer

Wave intensity and energy transfer describe how waves carry energy from one place to another. The total energy in a wavelength is the sum of potential energy and kinetic energy. The rate at which that energy moves is called power, which is the total energy divided by the time needed to transfer it.
