Circrna Detection Tools

circRNA detection tools are experimental and computational methods used to identify circular RNAs, covalently closed RNA molecules formed when a downstream splice donor joins an upstream splice acceptor. They detect back-splice junctions through approaches such as divergent-primer PCR, sequencing across junction-spanning reads, RNase R enrichment, and bioinformatic analysis of RNA-sequencing data, which can distinguish circular transcripts from linear RNA. In genetics, these tools help characterize circRNA abundance, tissue-specific expression, conservation, and regulation, while supporting studies of gene expression, disease-associated biomarkers, and potential interactions with microRNAs or proteins. Reliable detection and validation improve understanding of circRNA function and biological significance.

Citations play a key role in academic writing by documenting the evidence that supports scholarly claims. Beyond giving credit to original authors, they show engagement with existing research and strengthen the credibility of an argument. Effective citation practices are central to research literacy because they reflect a writer’s ability to locate, evaluate, and integrate reliable sources into their work. Digital Tools for Citation Management Advances in digital technology have simplified the...
