15.1: 生産要素

生産には、スマートフォンや衣類などの有形製品と、ヘルスケアサービスや金融アドバイスなどの無形製品の両方の作成が含まれます。生産要素は入力とも呼ばれます。これらは、企業が商品やサービスを生産するために使用するリソースです。土地、労働、資本、起業家精神は、生産要素の 4 つのカテゴリと見なされます。

最初の入力要素カテゴリは土地です。これには、工場が建設される物理的な場所と、鉱物、穀物、水などの生産に使用される天然原料が含まれます。

労働は、もう 1 つの重要な入力要素カテゴリです。大企業では、労働は、エンジニアや組立ラインの作業員から管理者やカスタマー サービス担当者まで、組織内のさまざまな役割を構成します。

資本も重要な入力要素カテゴリであり、これには生産に必要な機械や設備が含まれます。また、原材料を完成品に効率的に変換できるようにする建物、テクノロジー、ツールも含まれます。

起業家精神は、土地、労働、資本を割り当てて、出力を効率的に生産します。それは、商品やサービスの収益性の高い生産の未発見の機会を認識すること、そして事業の立ち上げと運営に伴う相当の経済的リスクを受け入れる意欲を伴います。

生産には、自動車、テレビ、ペンなどの物理的な製品や、教育、旅行、清掃サービスなどの無形の製品の作成が含まれます。

インプットまたは生産要素は、企業が製品を作るために使用する資源です。一部の経済学者は、土地、労働、資本、起業家を生産の主要な要素として挙げていますが、他の経済学者は資本、労働力、原材料を挙げています。

アイスクリームを製造している会社を考えてみましょう。

土地には、工場が建設される物理空間が含まれます。原材料は、果物、砂糖、ナッツなどの材料です。

労働力は次の要素であり、シェフ、フレーバー化学者、品質管理スペシャリスト、マーケティングチーム、セキュリティスタッフなど、さまざまな仕事が含まれます。

資本は、アイスクリームメーカー、ミキサー、包装機械、冷蔵保管施設、工場を含む別の要素です。

起業家は、上記のすべての生産要素をまとめる要素です。

たとえば、起業家のバート・バスキンとアーヴ・ロビンズは、有名なバスキン・ロビンズ社を設立しました。この会社は、毎月31種類のアイスクリームを提供することで有名です。
