Blank Solutions in Analytical Testing

Blank solutions are used in analytical testing to show the background signal before a sample is measured. A blank solution does not contain the analyte, which is the substance of interest being tested or measured. It is usually made with the same reagents and procedure as the sample solution, but without the analyte.

分析対象物を除く分析のすべての成分を含む溶液は、ブランク溶液と呼ばれます。

同じ条件下で、ブランク溶液は標準溶液および試験サンプルと同じ装置で測定されます。このブランク測定により、システマティックエラーや試薬や溶媒中の不純物によるエラーが明らかになります。

ブランクの値は、標準解やテストサンプルなど、後続のすべての測定値から差し引かれ、エラーが排除されます。ブランク溶液と標準溶液からの値によって検量線が生成されますが、試験サンプルから得られた値を使用して、分析種の未知の濃度を正確に測定します。

滴定分析では、ブランク溶液を使用して、滴定液中の不純物によるエラーを排除します。
