Preparation and Analysis of Histological Slides of Rat and Mouse Eyeballs to Evaluate the Retina

提示されたプロトコルの使用により、眼球の特定の構造の解剖学的構造および形態を詳細に評価することができる。当チームでは、緑内障、糖尿病性網膜症、高血圧性網膜症などの網膜疾患における神経変性の病態解明に取り組んでいます。網膜の神経変性の特徴を評価するために、RT(マウス眼球-図2、ラット眼球-図3)、ONL、OPL、INL、およびIPL(マウス眼球-図4、ラット眼球-図5)、およびGCLの細胞数(マウス眼球-図6、ラット眼球-図7)を評価しました。GCL の RT と細胞は、網膜中心で最も高く、末梢で最も低くなると予想されます。瞳孔のレベルで眼球を切断することにより、中央(眼球の後極)および末梢(毛様体に近い)網膜を通る断面が1つのスライドで達成されます。
