オペランド用流体セルラマン分光法 : ケイ酸塩ガラス腐食時の反応・輸送現象の研究

Fluid-cell Raman Spectroscopy for operando Studies of Reaction and Transport Phenomena during Silicate Glass Corrosion

以下では、この方法論の主な特徴を、三元Naホウケイ酸ガラス(TBG)サンプルと0.5 M NaHCO3溶液を公称温度90°C、つまりGeislerらの実験と同じ条件で行った腐食実験の結果によって示しています4。測定深度での実際の温度は、1016 cm-1(室温)4付近の重炭酸バンドの温度依存的な周波数シフトから決定された86 ± 1 °Cでした。TBGは、以前のFCRS実験24,30,31,35ですでに使用されています。実験は、ドイツのボン大学地球科学研究所にある堀場製作所の共焦点ラマン分光計HR800を用いて行われました。このシステムには、出力電力2.2Wの周波数倍増Nd:YVO4(532.11nm)レーザーと、電子増倍管荷電結合デバイスが装備されています(図3B)。開口数0.8の100倍長作動距離(LWD)対物レンズ、600グルーブ/mmの分光器グレーティング、600μmの共焦点孔、200μmの分光器入口スリット幅を使用しました。分光器は当初、520.7 cm-1の1次ラマンバンドを持つシリコン単結晶で較正されました。ラマン信号は、200〜1735および2800〜4000cm-1の波数範囲で測定されました。最初の波数範囲には、1707.36 cm-1のNeラインが含まれており、これは、最大数日間の長期測定(実験室での0.5°Cの温度変動から生じる)中に、分光計のシフトに対して各スペクトルを補正するための内部波数標準として記録されました±。ここで提示されたラマンデータは、特に明記されていない場合、記録されたNe線24,39にガウス関数を当てはめることによって、起こりうる周波数変動について修正されただけである。さらに、Ne線を使用して、全幅半値(FWHM)で与えられるスペクトル分解能を経験的に決定しました。これは5.1 cm-1でした。
図5Aは、記録された生のスペクトルを使用してソフトウェアによって表示されるガラス、溶液、およびSALの空間分布の時間的変化を示しています。この疑似カラー時間対位置画像は、ラインスキャン、つまりガラス/溶液インターフェースを横切るx方向のポイントごとの測定から生成されました。この画像は、最初の4.0時間以内に連続的に後退するガラス/溶液界面を示しており、ガラスの一致溶解を示しています。アモルファスシリカの最初の信号は8.3時間後に検出され、SALの降水量を捉えました。図5Bは、図5Aと図6Aに示すように、溶液、SALおよびガラスの1つの点(ピクセル)から記録された代表的な生のラマンスペクトルと、それらの空間分布を視覚化するための強度積分に使用される個々の周波数ウィンドウを示しています。この実験からここで強調すべき重要な観察結果は、SALとその下にあるガラスとの間に水が豊富なゾーンが形成されることです。この水が豊富なゾーンは、約80時間後に形成され始め、この瞬間から、幅が約6〜8μmの透明な界面水層に成長しました(図6A)。図6Bは、バルク溶液、SAL、界面溶液、および公称無水ガラスからの水振動の周波数範囲における代表的な平均ラマンスペクトルを示しています。スペクトルは、バルク溶液と界面溶液との間のH2O強度の差を強調しているだけでなく、SALからのスペクトルには、Si-OH振動35に割り当てることができる3600cm-1付近の新しい信号が含まれていることも強調しています。この追加のOHバンドは、界面水層とバルク溶液からのスペクトルでは見えませんが、これは、水で満たされた実験中に、手付かずのガラスとSALとの間の明確なギャップがゆっくりと進化したことを示しています。反応が進行中のこのような界面水層(または水が豊富な界面)の形成は、ICDPモデルの本質的な特徴であり、広く受け入れられている浸出メカニズム4,17では説明できない。この観察結果を再現できるという事実は、水溶液中のケイ酸塩ガラスの腐食を現実的にシミュレートすることを目的としたモデリングアプローチで明らかに考慮する必要があるため、非常に重要です。
