Types of RNA

단백질 합성에 직접적인 역할을 하는 RNA에는 전령 RNA 또는 mRNA, 전달 RNA 또는 tRNA, 리보솜 RNA 또는 rRNA의 세 가지 유형이 있습니다.
mRNA는 상보적 염기쌍(complementary base pairing)에 의해 DNA에서 먼저 전사됩니다. mRNA 분자에서 3개의 뉴클레오티드 그룹인 코돈은 아미노산 서열을 지정하고 단백질 합성이 시작되고 중지되어야 하는 위치를 나타냅니다.
번역은 mRNA가 세포질로 이동한 후 발생하며, 세포질에서 rRNA의 도움으로 작은 리보솜 소단위체에 위치합니다.
다음으로, 한쪽 끝에는 3개의 뉴클레오티드 안티코돈 염기서열이 있고 다른 쪽 끝에는 특정 아미노산이 있는 tRNA 분자가 mRNA의 상보적 코돈에 결합합니다.
올바른 tRNA는 mRNA에 순차적으로 결합하고, 큰 리보솜 소단위체의 rRNA는 두 아미노산 사이의 펩타이드 결합 형성을 촉매합니다.

RNA types play different roles in gene expression. RNA, or ribonucleic acid, helps carry and use genetic information in cells. The main types discussed here are messenger RNA, ribosomal RNA, and transfer RNA.

Messenger RNA, or mRNA, carries the genetic code from DNA to the ribosome. The ribosome is the site where proteins are made. Ribosomal RNA, or rRNA, is a key part of the ribosome itself. Transfer RNA, or tRNA, brings the correct amino acids to the ribosome during protein building.

These RNA molecules work together during protein synthesis. mRNA provides the message, rRNA helps form the protein-making machinery, and tRNA matches amino acids to the code. Understanding these RNA types helps explain how cells turn genetic instructions into proteins.
