F-검정은 비교된 두 분산이 동일하다는 귀무 가설을 기반으로 합니다.
검정 통계량 F는 분산의 몫으로 평가되며, 여기서 분산은 표준 편차의 제곱으로 표현됩니다.
값이 더 큰 분산은 분자에 배치되어 F가 항상 1보다 크거나 같게 됩니다.
F 값은 귀무 가설이 참이 되려면 1이어야 합니다. 불확정 및 확정 오류로 인해 1보다 커집니다.
