각 식물 기관은 분열하지 않는 영구적인 조직이 되도록 전문화된 분열 조직 또는 활발하게 분열하는 조직으로 구성됩니다. 분열은 세 가지 주요 유형으로 구분됩니다.
피부 조직은 증발을 통한 수분 손실을 방지하는 밀랍 같은 표피로 식물을 덮고 있습니다. 기공(stomata)이라고 하는 표피의 특수 구멍은 가스를 교환할 수 있게 해줍니다.

Meristematic tissues consist of actively dividing, undifferentiated cells that enable continuous plant growth. Permanent tissues are composed of differentiated cells that have stopped dividing and perform specialized functions.
