Rehabilitation Training

Rehabilitation training is a structured program of therapeutic exercise and functional practice that helps people restore movement, strength, endurance, and independence after injury, illness, surgery, or disability. It works through individualized, progressive activities that apply graded physical or cognitive demands, promote neuromuscular adaptation, and reinforce task-specific skills while monitoring symptoms and performance. In medicine, rehabilitation training supports recovery after musculoskeletal injuries, stroke, neurological disorders, and cardiopulmonary disease, often using assessment-guided goals and measurable outcomes. By improving physical function and participation in daily activities, it can reduce disability, support long-term health, and inform personalized rehabilitation plans.
