Atomic Force Microscopy Measurements of Cartilage in Intact and Regenerating Axolotl Limbs

제우고포디움 영역(요골 및 척골)에 존재하는 두 골격 요소의 횡단 단면을 측정했을 때, 온전한 사지에서 구별할 수 없는 명백한 Young's moduli가 감지되었으며, 중앙값은 각각 10.95 ± 11.69 kPa 및 15.71 ± 6.49 kPa이며(그림 2D, 왼쪽), 이는 해부학적 유사성과 일치합니다(그림 1C). 흥미롭게도, 연 골 중심과 주변부를 분석한 결과, 온전한 조건에서 중심부의 겉보기 영률(Young's moduli)이 주변부보다 높았으며, 중앙값은 각각 16.48 ± 6.86 kPa 대 7.53 ± 4.63 kPa였습니다(그림 2E, 왼쪽). 절단 후 5일째, 조직용해 단계에 해당하며, 요골과 척골의 겉보기 영률(PER)은 상당히 감소했지만(각각 0.03 ± 0.02 kPa 및 0.13 ± 0.09 kPa, 그림 2D, 오른쪽), 중심과 주변부의 차이도 사라졌으며, 영 계수의 중앙값은 각각 0.11 ± 0.07 kPa 및 0.27 ± 0.34 kPa였다(그림 2E, 오른쪽). 후기 재생 단계에서 연골 특성을 분석할 때 연골이 응축되기 시작할 때 겉보기 영률(Young's moduli)의 상당한 증가가 감지되어 온전한 단계와 조직 용해제 사이의 중간 값에 도달했습니다(0.77 ± 0.29 kPa, 그림 2F).
