Vendor management is the process of overseeing supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
A key part of effective vendor management is setting clear payment terms, which are the agreed conditions under which a buyer pays a seller for goods or services.
Such terms typically specify the payment amount, the due date, and any discounts for early payment or charges for late payment.

Net thirty means the full payment is due within thirty days from the invoice date.
After the twentieth of September, the full amount of two thousand dollars is due by October tenth.
