Marketing Mix

Marketing mix is the coordinated set of controllable marketing decisions a business uses to offer value, reach target customers, and achieve organizational goals. Traditionally organized as the 4Ps, it aligns product, price, place, and promotion: firms design an offering, set an appropriate price, select distribution channels, and communicate benefits through integrated promotional activities. By adjusting these elements in response to customer needs, competitors, market conditions, and organizational resources, marketers can shape demand and strengthen market positioning. The framework supports product launches, segmentation, campaign planning, and performance evaluation, while extended models add people, process, and physical evidence for service-based organizations.
